Mr. Accinelli’s practice focuses primarily on zoning and land use matters. He advises clients on a wide variety of land use and zoning matters with an emphasis on assisting landowners, prospective landowners, developers, engineers, architects and other third-party consultants navigate projects through the myriad and complex governmental review and approval process in terms of as-of-right options, as well as those requiring discretionary approvals such as area and use variances, site plan approvals, landmarked properties, zoning map and text changes, and special permits.
In addition, Mr. Accinelli handles all aspects of a business and transactional real estate law practice, including sales and acquisitions, leasing, and financing related to various property types including office, mixed-use, residential, industrial, shopping centers, and warehouse properties. He also incorporates a specialized emphasis as part of his practice representing housing cooperatives, condominium associations and homeowner’s associations in matters involving general and specialized operational and governance matters, management, finance, contracts, litigation, and tax assessments. His prior experience includes a corporate transactional practice at a major international law firm with offices in New York City.
